Mission
We believe that churches which begin the process of spiritual and numeric growth learn to recognize the relational viability of the entire faith community regardless of position, and engage, address, and value each congregant as ministry equals, equally important in and to the body of Christ. We are a gathered people of faith, galvanized under the lordship of Jesus Christ, seeking to be witnesses of the loving gift of God in and through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus on Calvary. Being empowered by the Holy Spirit, informed, and instructed by the Holy Word, and led by a loving Savior, our mission is to transform lives, rebuild families and our community, give voice to the voiceless, and serve as anointed soldiers on the ministry battlefield for our Lord.
Vision
"And I will show you a still more excellent way." 1 Corinthians 12:31b.
Using Paul's first letter to the church at Corinth focusing on Chapters 12 and 13, we are striving to be a church that is Christ-centered, denominationally aligned, and biblically and theologically oriented. We are a Christian church seeking to fulfill the ministry and mission mandates of Christ. We are Baptist in denomination and recognize the preeminence of congregational governance. And we hold that the Bible is the Word of God, and its principles of love and service will guide our collective ministry efforts.
